Heinz Backeberg is the managing member and safari operator of Sukulu Safaris CC which he established in 2003. He has been guiding and hosting many local and international clients since 1994. He is passionate about our country’s general fauna and flora and his general knowledge and interest in wildlife photography has given him the opportunity to travel and visit some of the most spectacular and pristine wilderness areas of our beautiful country.

He served as Reserve Manager on a wildlife reserve in the Limpopo province of South Africa for a number of years during which time he had the privilege of gaining a vast amount of knowledge, skills and experience all of which have been to the benefit of both client and the business.
