Terms and conditions

A deposit of 50% of the total rate per person per night/day will be required within 7 days to confirm a booking unless otherwise indicated. The balance of the total rate (50%) will be payable 30 days before arrival and prior to commencement of the safari. Once confirmation of the initial deposit has been received, the information pertaining to the safari will be forwarded to client/s in order to assist clients with making adequate preparations. The deposit will be forfeited upon cancellation of the safari by the client/s, therefore trip cancellation insurance should be considered (See cancellation policy).  Personal and equipment liability is the sole responsibility of the clients. Sukulu Safaris CC and its members, staff, employees and agents accept no responsibility whatsoever. Payments are to be made in cash, wire transfers or travellers cheques. All expenses incurred by clients during the safari must be finalised for payment prior to departure. The client/s agrees that all photos and video material taken during the safari may be used as promotional material by Sukulu Safaris CC.

Cancellation Policy

In the event of a cancellation, the following cancellation fee shall apply on the Full Booking Rate:

  • Cancellation must be received in writing
  • 10% 0f total cost of stay if cancelled 30 days before arrival
  • 25% of total cost of stay if cancelled 16 – 30 days before arrival
  • 50% of total cost of stay if cancelled 8 – 15 days before arrival
  • 100% of total cost of stay if cancelled 1 – 7 days before arrival

Child Policy

  • Children 0 – 1 years of age, Free of charge when sharing with 2 adults, excluding meals
  • Children 2 -12 years, 50% 0f the adult rate sharing rate with two adults
  • Children 13 years and older, full adult sharing rate
  • Children 12 years and younger are not permitted on scheduled game drives or walks (Big ’5? reserves/parks)
